Did you know the voice of BLOOD cries from the ground to God?

The first book of the Bible . . Genesis chapter 4 tells about the rift between the 2 male children of Adam and Eve. Cain killed Abel. I used to have a problem remembering which man was murdered. Then a Bible teacher said she remembers this: Cain killed Abel with the leg of a table. It rhymes. I hope that does not sound disrespectful to scripture. I was never mixed up again.

The LORD then asked Cain, "Where is Abel your brother?" He answered, "I do not know. Am I my brother's keeper?" Then God said, "What have you done? The voice of your brother's BLOOD is crying to Me from the ground (ie. for revenge.) Now you are cursed from the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother's BLOOD from your hand."

There was an active video from Ukraine of a woman from her back. She was bent over a heavily BLOOD stained covering. A small lifeless figure was on the ground. A child covered with a blanket? . . . was she the mother or grandmother? It was very hard to watch.

In the spiritual world, God's ears are being assaulted day and night from Ukraine.

Cain was punished. He was banned from God's presence for life. I believe punishment awaits Putin. How and when is up to God.

Why would BLOOD cry to God from the ground?

Leviticus 17:11 tells us the life of the body is derived from the BLOOD, and it is the means by which atonement for sins is made. Before Jesus came, sacrifices were made of animals and their BLOOD.

Ever since Jesus died on the cross for us, we are cleansed by His BLOOD. 1 John 1:7: "but if we walk in the light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the BLOOD of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.

(emphasis mine in the word BLOOD.)

I have told the story often of a man I was talking with in my early Christian days. He grieved over his sin during his youth and told me the answer was that he would "plead the blood". In other words, he knew that he was a christian, that he was 'saved' and that the blood of Jesus covered those sins. The verse given in the above paragraph 1 John. 1:7 . . the tense of the word 'cleanses' or 'purifies' is not a one time action . . it is an ongoing action. As we live our daily life, His blood purifies us in a sustained, uninterrupted action. 1 John 1:9 states: If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. All this is pointing to the fact He is close by. He is near us, He can't be far away. Do you see this? Do you understand? If you do, how precious is the Word that speaks of His blood! There is power in His blood!

One more precious verse in Revelation 12:11. "And they overcame him (the devil) because of the blood of the Lamb (Jesus) and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death."
