The Lord brought the above song to mind this morning. Written by John W. Peterson, he was born November 1, 1921 in Lindsborg, KS. He served as an Air Force Transport pilot during World War II, flying the notorious "China Hump" route over the Himalayas.

1. My Father is omnipotent, and that you can't deny.

A God of might and miracles, 'tis written in the sky.

It took a miracle to put the stars in place.

It took a miracle to hang the world in space.

But when He saved my soul,

Cleansed and made me whole,

It took a miracle of love and grace.

2. Though here His glory has been shown, we still can't fully see

The wonders of His might, His throne, t'will take eternity.

3. The Bible tells us of His power and wisdom all way through,

And every little bird and flower are testimonies too.

4. The greatness of the Lord is seen in everything He made,

But greater far the work He did when on Him my sin was laid.

Before I became a Christian, this is how it started for me: Looking back, the Holy Spirit was drawing me toward spiritual things. He knows what it takes for each of us to come to Him.

This was the early 1970's and I was very unhappy at the time. Spiritually, it was grace, Prevenient Grace, a grace that comes before. I began to have an interest in 'religious' programs on TV, ie Billy Graham Crusades. I became hooked on radio programs on WEEC, a Christian station still in Springfield, Ohio.

Here is the song played on WEEC that ministered peace to me. There was a moving in my heart that I could not explain, but I loved the feeling. I went out and purchased Evie's album at the local music store. I encourage you to play this video and see what happens.
