Jesus Christ is our Hope. 1 Timothy 1:1 This is a strengthening Truth

WHO OR WHAT is your hope?

If it is money, consider this: How much money is enough money?

For John D. Rockefeller the answer was "just a little bit more". At the peak of his wealth, Rockefeller had a net worth of about 1% of the entire U. S. economy. He owned 90% of all the oil and gas industry of his time.

WHO OR WHAT is your hope?

Is it weapons and readiness? When Paul wrote 1 Timothy (see picture description), he could not have imagined our world as it is today. Per Matthew 24:6: "You will have heard of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things will happen but the end is still to come.

WHO OR WHAT is your hope?

Is it culture, education and science? From time to time we see the latest robot on TV. But there is no super mind who can speak peace and comfort to a grieving loved one or forgiveness to a guilty heart burdened down with sin.

Mid-term elections are just around the corner. Skeletons are tumbling out of closets. But the salvation of all Americans is neither the silencing of skeletons nor

a victory of a political party, but admitting and agreeing with God about our sin. Then God will forgive us our sin and cleanse us. (1 John 1:9)

Now, Who is This Jesus?

He gave himself as the Lamb of God which takes away the sin of the world. He is our One and Only Hope. Not only that, but He is our Hope with every burden, problems and sorrows. We, as Christians have been purchased by the highest price ever paid (His pure life). NOTHING happens to us without His permission. Every sorrow we suffer is sanctified. It is part of His divine plan for spiritual strengthening.

Fasten your eyes on Romans 8:28. "All things work together for good to those who are called according to His purpose . . to those who love God."

Since it is absolutely true that Jesus is our only hope, what will you do with Him? Are you a Christian yet? Believe Him and trust in Him with your own personal conviction! Our faith must be steady and sturdy in Him no matter what befalls us.

Take your Bible and study the following:

17th chapter of John

53rd chapter of Isaiah

8th chapter of Romans

The record of the crucifixion in any of the gospels

Pray and ask the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you in your studies and He will.
