Deposit Photos Friday Faith Talks WHO WANTS IT ALL?

Today, Friday Faith Talks day, I heard on the TV about women over 50 - 60 - 70 - 80 - that now we can"have it all". (Meaning women don't have to choose between marriage and family OR career. Women are into new enterprises after age 50 so frequently that the years have been increased as well as space with the intent to list them internationally! Forbes Magazine is promoting this exercise and the comment made by the female newscaster stated "Now we (women) can have it all!"

I imagine she meant home & family / then career at a later age.

Is that your idea of 'having it all'? It is not mine. However**

**I don't know enough detail to know if any such woman would include the spiritual side in her planning. Is she a Christian? Does she attend church and raise her children in church? (Of course that is no guarantee the children will turn out well or even be base-line good citizens who vote and obey the law.)

I should ask . . what does "having it all mean to you as an individual woman"?

I have made a TON as in at least 2,000 lbs. of mistakes / sins in my life so I am not someone to be a good example. But the Bible is. If you don't read or study it, then you have no idea how God wants you to live.

Jesus said, "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life; what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Matthew 6:25 NIV

Jesus said, "Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? Matthew 6:27 NIV

Jesus said,"Seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Matthew 6:33-34 NIV

Jesus said, "So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets." Matthew 7:12 NIV

So, what do you think?
